Success!

I found a lovely lady to take our little rooster boys & give them a nice home. Rose misses them, but the coop is quieter without all that crowing. Also, the girls don't have to dodge all the excessive "attention."

Roosters, roosters, roosters...

Yes, it is rooster re-homing time again. The cute, adorable chicks begin to take on the characteristics of mature, vicious raptors. The raping & pillaging begin and our collective patience waines. Thus, begins the cycle of hooking up with strangers via Craigslist & arranging meet ups in the parking lots of fastfood restaurants.

Here are some of our candidates for strangers' soup pots (just kidding): The first fuzzy reject is Raven, a romantically aggressive Silkie.

We also have two Turken/Silkie mixes: Rock & Liberace. I have nothing against these guys, except it is rather disconcerting to watch them drag eachother around by the face. They love to be cuddled and held. They just have sibling issues.

I am going to need all the luck in the world to get someone to take these dudes off our hands...

Hey, that's not a chicken!

We are starting some kind of farm, here.
A Funny Farm?
Rose's new bunny is a mini rex, named Blue. Rose plans to show her in the fair.
